Last Stitch:
Copyright violation is a major issue in the quilting world. Quilters and quilt artist's livelihoods are at risk. The quilting world is a sharing kind of place, and as such, patterns and books are shared and quilts are photographed. These acts of kindness are actually a violation of the designers or writers copyright. Everything can be scanned into a computer, loaded on the web and sent around the world in a matter of seconds. If we want the quilting world to continue to grow, we need to protect our designers and authors. Please use this rule: If you designed this quilt (or wrote a book or printed a pattern) would you want your copyright violated?
